Who I ran for :)
The start line!It is a beautiful day today and a great day for a fundraiser. There were tons of people out and lots of dogs and babies as well (which increased my yearning for both! ha!).
I took off like a shot at the start, in an attempt to get ahead of all the walkers. It was warm and I gassed it too early, because after the water station at the halfway mark I had to walk a few times to cool off. The run wasn't great (5km in 28:10, not a PR), but it was for a good cause and it is a gorgeous day!
